Custom Wallpaper for Trixie Motel

Renowned drag queen and TV personality Trixie Mattel recently renovated a rundown Palm Springs Motel with interior designer Dani Dazey to reflect her famous exaggerated and retro high-camp style. Astek Home played a significant role in making her vision come to life. In only four months, the team totally renovated the entire motel, including the check-in area, lobby lounge, pool, and seven unique guest rooms. Not surprisingly, Trixie's idea to transform this space with vibrant prints and bright (primarily pink) colors were handed off to Dani, who got down to the nitty-gritty. Our customizable services seamlessly brought this magical oasis together.

Each incredibly detailed themed room design was brought to life with Dani's custom-designed wallpaper designs. We worked closely with Dani, tweaking the scale and color of each wallpaper design to make the details perfect. Thanks to our in-house production capabilities, we were able to print her final designs as beautiful, bold wallpaper for the space. Some of our favorites were the Pink Flamingo room, where we printed Dani's detailed flamingo design, the Queen of Hearts room with an orange and pink heart pattern, and the Malibu Barbara room, where we printed the pastel beach-inspired design.
